Sage 300 ‘Cannot Find the Program File’ Error Message:

There seems to be an issue with the latest Windows Security Essentials/ Windows Defender update that is creating the AccPac database to throw the error “Cannot Find the Program File”.  This error is only being caused by computer that run Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows Defender.  If you have an question regarding this message please feel free to contact help@rhinotec.ca  It is important to note that at this time the issue is not affecting Sage 50 or other Sage products, but as always I will be monitoring the situation.

Microsoft has done it again!  The new update to their Anniversery update, are stalling computers every where.  Updates are taking over 2 hours in many cases.  Patience is the best remedy, however if you need a hand give use a call!
